Indian Ocean Lodge

Situated on the west coast of Praslin, the hotel stands on a prime site on Grand Anse, the island’s longest beach. The hotel nestles amongst mature Takamaka trees and colorful tropical plants just a few steps from the sea. The 32 rooms are arranged in eight separate units with four rooms each – two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All rooms are inter-connecting.

All rooms have plenty of wooden louvered windows and are designed for natural ventilation. Each room has its own private patio/terrace which overlooks the Grand Anse bay and islands beyond.

An imposing thatched building, centrally situated between the bedroom units, houses the restaurant. A bar is situated on the seaside corner of the main building and services the pool deck area as well as the cozy residents lounge. Adjacent to the main building and a few steps away from the beach, the swimming pool offers an alternative to sea bathing and an area for guests to lounge around. Shuttle Service to Cote d’Or - The hotel provides a daily complimentary shuttle service to Cote d’Or, departing in the morning and returning late afternoon.
