Set on the sunset side of the
longest white sand beach on the island, Sugar Beach Resort is built in the
style of the old Mauritian sugar plantations, this luxury resort combines

The luxury accommodation at
Sugar Beach Resort is divided into rooms in the gracious Manor House, and
in the sixteen adjacent Creole-styled Beach Villas, some of which are no
more than 30 metres from the beach.
Dining at Sugar Beach Resort
is indeed a pleasure. A sumptuous buffet is presented at breakfast,
including an enormous variety of freshly baked pastries and delicious
breads. Lunch is usually a fairly informal affair, and all the stops are
pulled out for dinner. Menus have been thoughtfully composed and tastily
prepared, and buffets offer a huge variety of absolutely delicious and
interesting options.
One of the highlights of this
wonderful resort, La Rhumerie is open every evening for your pleasure, and
offers a huge range of traditional and flavoured rums, together with
cognacs, liqueurs and a selection of fine cigars. La Rhumerie is also the
perfect place to be at peace with the world as you watch the sun sink
slowly over the tranquil Indian Ocean.
The unique Sugar Club offers a
health and fitness centre with a fully equipped gym with latest cybex
machines, supervised by professional instructors in addition to a
hairdressing salon and beauty centre which provides cosmetic and facial
treatments as well as a full range of rejuvenating body treatments and
therapeutic massages for men and women.
Sugar Beach resort is world-renowned for its for it's fabulous
programme of live entertainment. Our resident band provides dance music
every night, and there's a variety of cabaret shows including a creole
jazz band ,Disco Fever and the pulsating, colourful Sega and a selection
of musicals which are changed and updated regularly. Naturally, the
pulsating, colourful sega is performed regularly, to everyone's delight.
There's a buzzing casino at the adjoining La Pirogue Hotel. Open every
evening from nine 'til late there are slot machines, American Roulette and
Blackjack tables for those who like to have a little flutter.
Located conveniently at the
entrance of the resort, and with the backdrop of the magnificient
mountains, the Conference Center of the Sugar Beach Resort can host the
smallest of meetings to the grandest conferences.
The true Creole plantation
domain style architecture houses an array of the most modern office
automation and presentation accesories, covered parking spaces and a fully
equipped kitchen that combine to rank the centre amongst the best in the
world
The conference center has an
area of 294 square meters (14m x 21m) for seating 200 delegates in
classroom parallel style and up to 360 in cinema style. This makes the new
center one of the largest available on the island.
When not in use in full
capacity, the room can be transformed into 3 breakaway rooms - 2 rooms of
7m x 7m, with a seating capacity of 40 delegates each and the third of 14m
x 14m, with a seating capacity of 160 delegates - all in classroom style.
The center is fully equipped
with state-of-the-art presentation, documentation and office automation
systems that include the BARCO system, computer links, video, large
electronic screen, silent air conditioning, soundproof walls, moveable
partitions, special lighting and a host of other standard equipment.
Besides there is a fully equipped kitchen to serve a sit down dinner
for 200 guests at the Conference Center.
No wonder, the only things you will miss are the exhaust fumes, the
traffic jams and the crowds.
