Paul & Virginie Hotel

A romantic escape in time to experience intimate moments in perfect harmony.
Named after the legendary young couple immortalised by the French author Bernardin de St Pierre in his novel Paul & Virginie, the hotel is an invitation to a relaxing and romantic stay enhanced by idyllic tranquility and a soothing atmosphere.

The decor of colonial inspiration, a subtle combination of wood, stone and thatch roofs, reveals a peaceful haven for couples seeking an unforgettable getaway to paradise island.

All 81 bedrooms are sea facing, with a panoramic view of the northern islands and the magnificent lagoon. The rooms are divided into three categories: 18 comfort, 51 standard and 12 superior.

The Isle de France restaurant, overlooking the lagoon, serves an innovative Mauritian cuisine, with dishes revealing local flavours, spices and colours. For delicious moments on a sandy pier surrounded by water, the beach restaurant
La Trinquette is open for lunch and dinner and offers a tropical “ A la carte” menu with daily specialities. The St Géran bar, named after the shipwreck, is open for refreshments under the morning sun, teatime with pancakes in the afternoon and exotic cocktails at sunset.

A wide choice of leisure activities is available free of charge: 2 pools, floodlit tennis courts, water-skiing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat, kayak, pedal boats, snorkelling, fitness room, French bowling, beach volley, table tennis and indoor games. Guests have access to all free activities proposed in the other hotels of Veranda Resorts.

Activities with supplement: a diving centre to explore the underwater fauna and flora of Mauritius, catamaran cruises, deep-sea fishing, video games, pool table, bicycle rental.
