Palm Beach Resort*****
Imagine an undisturbed lush green tropical forest. Exotic tropical
blooms and ripe luscious fruits. The music of birds calling out to each
other. The gentle sound of wind rustling the leaves. The rushing of waves
to shore in the background – the perfect tropical symphony. What would you
call a place such as this? We call it Palm Beach Island.
Palm Beach Island is one of the most naturally beautiful islands in the
Maldives – where 1192 islands renowned world wide for their beauty lie
sanguine and sublime across the Indian Ocean.
Those who have been to the island swear by its beauty. Situated right
on the edge of one of the 20 atolls in the Maldives, the Palm Beach Island
has a land area of 21.75Ha. Fine white coral sand runs right around the
island, creating 3.40km of beautiful beach. The surrounding lagoon is an
azure blue, perfect for snorkeling, swimming or for a lazy sailing trip in
the afternoon.
In developing Palm Beach Island as your ideal holiday destination, Palm
Beach's top priority has been to leave this awesome natural beauty as
undisturbed and untouched as possible. Local tourism regulations allow
development of 20 percent of the island. But Palm Beach have stuck to just
6.48 percent, leaving most of the island as it is – for your optimal
enjoyment of its natural blessings.
Walk beneath the tall palm trees, their tops heavy with coconuts, the
large screw pines with their red and orange fruits, meander through the
tropical trees, rest beneath the shade of the umbrella-like age old banyan
trees. Enjoy the profusion of color, take in the scent of the greenery –
it’s the definite sounds and smells of an undisturbed tropical rain forest.
Once again, the environment is top priority. All 100 rooms on the
island have been designed to blend into the vegetation. Trees surround you,
the beach beckons just a few steps away. A view of the ocean is clearly
visible from the comfort of your room. Every bungalow is a study in
elegance and luxury.

ensure that there’s food on the table to satisfy every palate and every
taste. The grill, serviced by the restaurant provides you with lobsters,

food you have experienced is satisfied.

the evening, visit the Oriental/continental restaurant where chefs

perfection.
Situated adjacent to the Oriental/Continental restaurant and right next
to the beach, the Piano Bar is where you get your fill of good music. Even
as the tunes of classical music begin to permeate the air, the sea in the
background begins to play the remaining piece of the orchestra – creating
music that would remain in your ears for along time to come. Grab a table
on the beach and give yourself away to the music, the moon above and the
millions of twinkling stars. This is romance like you have never
experienced before. It is a seductive affair with nature. Champage and
cocktails are available from the bar if that is what you feel like. The
choice is always yours in Palm Beach.
